Germany, DLV. A Rare Vehicle Plaque, by Wilhelm Deumer Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic 1914 / Born in Orwell(Deutscher Luftsportverband Motorhaubenemblem). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a Deutscher Luftsportverband (German Air Sports Association DLV) insignia in the form of a red enameled ring overlaid by a pair of stylized wings joined together in the centre by a propeller, in turn defaced by a black mobile swastika, the reverse with two depressions formerly accommodating threaded lugs for attachment
